Time Apart
Made for GMTK game jam
You are our newest robot employee, and your mission is simple: make your way through a series of test chambers to prove that you’re worthy of being packaged and shipped.
There’s just one small issue: you’re running out of time.
Use old parts of your own body to solve puzzles, push objects, press buttons, and find creative solutions before the countdown reaches zero. Every second matters, and one wrong move might leave you as nothing more than a pile of spare parts.
And remember the company’s oldest saying:
“The first 50 years are the hardest. After that, it only gets worse.”

Nice concept, good use of the theme.
I didn't get the poem at first, and it's only at level 5 or 6 that I understood I was loosing parts every X seconds. Also, it's not mentionned anywhere that you can restart the game by pressing R. However we hear several clock ticking then.
I didn't like the sound design, the cascade sound and death sound are way too loud, and the lone clock ticking gives off gloomy vibes.
Played to the end, it was nicely not too short not too long.
